A place for growth

The true idea of a home is that it is a place for growth. It is a place for the parents themselves to grow – to grow into beauty of character, to grow in refinement, in knowledge, in strength, in wisdom, in patience, gentleness, kindliness, and all the Christian graces and virtues. It is a place for children to grow – to grow into physical vigor and health and to be trained in all that shall make them true and noble men and women.

Lord I pray that my home will be what your desire is ....not my own. I have so much to learn and I am willing to hear and seek after you. I pray that you would help my children to grow up to be men and women of God....that through my growth in You they may see Your will. Amen

God uses our children to help us die to ourselves. I'm convinced of it.

Yes I truly believe if we give opportunity and teaching, both the grown-ups and the children can grow and blossom in many ways that we think we need special education for. It happens naturally in the home if I keep my eyes and heart open!
