Outdoor wednesday June 17, 2009

Today was a wonderful day at the park with friends..... for the kids and us mom's.
The older kids played a game of frisbee and the little ones were playing there version of wiffle ball.
And lucky for me .... and friend of mine brought her camera.... and loves to take pictures... thanks Becky!!!
I have to say I love this picture of Christopher.... boy is he growing up.... yes yes i know they do.

The simple womens daybook

FOR TODAY.... June 15th , 2009
Outside my window...flower pedels on the ground from our very fragrent trees

I am thinking...what do i feel like crying?

I am thankful for...my home, my children , my church and my husband

From the learning rooms...PASS test started and math and grammar continued

From the kitchen...Pork chops and not sure what else

I am wearing...my black running pants , and light pink shirt

I am creating...a plan to paint the other walls in my house

I am going...to the bank

I am reading...Starting .. The Eagle of the Ninth

I am hoping...my knee will stop hurting

I am hearing...the fan in my window, the kids talking and a spoon scrapeing the side of a ceral bowl

Around the house...the same old stuff that needs picking up

One of my favorite things...is a brownie sundea.... yeah it's 9 am.. but it sounds good

A few plans for the rest of the week:.... finish testing

Hobble

Definition of Hobble

1. to walk with a lame awkward movement

Tha was me this morning. I have injured my knee and I am now hobbling.... how fun right?

NO.... but I am still pushing through this 5K run thing... to day i did more of a fast walk rotaion... that works right?... I hope so....Blessings on your day... I need ice on my knee

Faithful Friday

God is faithful in much

He is faithful to forgive me.

I am so glad that my Lord and savior is here for me day in and day out. Life can become very overwhelming at times, however , he sends word of encouragement from friends, and in his word. I am so glad that I can call out His name and he is there.

Log date June 10th 2009.... humid air and running

Today was another running day... boy was it tough... the humidity in the air was thick like pea soup. Coffee before my run ( something i have to do ) didn't even clear up my air waves.

BUT... we did great time ... we evenwent further then planned... and we did so well... I am amazed!!! I am so glad that i am doing this.

Outdoor Wednesday

Here Bekah is a happy Lost boy ... I mean a girl....she's happy to be found.. I'm glad i did!!
This is Chris the lost boy who is trying to blend in with his natural habitat... the picnic table
This is Adam ( Chris ) who had not only found fig leaves to wear but felt that if he wore a leaf on his face... God could not see him.... I don't think it will work
And here is Eve ( Bekah ) who thought not only will it work but if she looked like a pirate leaf... Godwon't find me..... sorry that wont work either....
