This is a quote that I have heard on and off through life , but didn't know who said it the first search I did said that It was quoted by Eleanor Roosevelt .
But then i did more searching and found out it is from a poem by,Thomas Haynes Bayly...the poem is titled Isle of Beauty .
What would not I give to wander
Where my old companions dwell?
Absence makes the heart grow fonder:
Isle of Beauty, fare thee well!
I thought of this quote because Tom has been away for about 6 days and we have missed him very much.... we pick him up at the airport today..... So the quote: Absence make the heart grow fonder is true .... I think.... what do you think?
