Today I desides that I would try weeding my walk way and my garden with hopes to have a garden with veggies.

I have very stubborn weeds that have long roots and break and will not come up....so I googled Vinegar as a weed killler and wouldn't you know ..... It does..... I took a spray bottle .... rinsed it out then filled it with vinegar and some salt ..... and went spraying some of those stobborn weeds..... they are turning brown !!!!!!..... I also am trying baking soda... I read on google some werew that it might work..... it sure beats round out @ 20.00 a gallon.

So there is my little tidbit of info.

Belated Friday Product Brag

We are meat eaters in our house. Well some times meat can be a bit pricey . We eat a lot of chicken of course...but my man loves beef.

Well we have been eating Steak Umms for dinner lately....not every night ...but at least once week....they are easy to prepare, just in minutes....fry them up in a pan and you can make steak and cheese sandwiches , or make some beef flavored rice and throw the steak umms in...kind like a casserole...or fry onions and peppers in a pan with the steak umms and serve with rice....

I am sure there are many recipes...and I also buy what is on sale... so some times i go generic .... so if your wanting some beef try this or products like this... enjoy

Where's the BEEF !!!! lol

Friday 's product brag

I love this dish washing soap..... I find that the foam is so very quick to use when you want to get a few choice dishes done , and you don't want to fill a sink full of soapy water. I do have both liquid and foam and i find that i don't go through soap as quickly as i would as if i just had liquid. So I try to buy both .

I thought that i would talk about a product that I really like on Friday's. would you like to join me? what is your favorite product? food? cleaning supply? cloths? ect what ever you would like to talk about..... i love reading about new stuff or even not so new stuff.

Did you know that you can make your own Half and half?

Now I have never tried this.... but if your a coffee drinker like I am and you run out of 1/2 and 1/2 it is torcher to drink it with milk... well i was reading her blog , and she says that she uses this in recipes that call fro 1/2 and 1/2 ..... I will try this some day I wounder if i found a Gem.

I love finding stuff like this. Oh .... I just got all the ingredients to make home made Bisquick... so right after i blog i am going to go make it.... we will have pancakes tomorrow for breakfast.

Making this today

Earth Friendly Play Dough

  • 1 cup flour (not self-rising)
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Mix in saucepan over low heat. (It does not have to heat long.) Dough is ready when it rolls into a ball. Keep dough fresh in an airtight container. If you need to make different colors, add food coloring while mixing over heat. Here is the link
